Santa is coming to town! Hohoho!

Oh my... where did the time go? I can't believe it's almost Christmas. Because when it's Christmas, it's almost New Year's Eve and when it's New Year's Eve it's almost time to go home. And I so don't want to go home! :(

Anyways, my friends and I went to one of the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties and got to eat and drink a lot of complimentary Christmas treats, such as sugar and chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa. Super delicious! On top of that, we saw the amazing Christmas Parade and Holiday Wishes fireworks! Also, we got the chance to meet some Disney characters and Santa Clause in particular. I told him about my secret gift wishes (Haha!). Oh yeah... I have been a really good girl this year! It was a great night! :)

Highlight of the month!

The other day, my room mates and I went to Epcot to try the German Buffet. I have to admit: I never thought it would be that good and close to real German food. (Haha!). It was absolutely delicious and very authentic. So if you like hearty dishes, you should stop by the German Pavillion. There's Sauerkraut, Bratwurst, beer and pretzel en masse. ;) After we were stuffed like pigs, we went to see Illuminiations. The show utilizes fireworks, pyrotechnics, laser lights, fountains and fire to create a visual production on the park's World Showcase Lagoon. I was absolutely blown away! :)

Strollers rock!

I never expected that I could like my new workplace even more than my old one. (Still amazed!) I enjoyed a fun-filled training with one of the most hilarious and engaged trainers Disney has to offer. :D On top of that, I got treally attached with my super sweet, funny and helpful co-workers, even though I haven't been working there just for a short time of period. Working with them and my awesome managers is so much fun. And time flies when I'm on cash register, wow! :O  I love it! The only "bad" point about working at Strollers is that I mostly get night shifts, which makes it a little bit hard to meet up with friends during the day as I used to. But no worries, I'll find a solution for that. :)

Times of change!

Oh my... Where did the time go? I just can't believe that my time at Pinocchio's is already over and I get transferred to another place. Im going to miss my PVH family like crazy! :( I got to meet and know so many great people and friends over there, it hurts to leave them. I will never forget our hilarious birthday songs, dance performances (never thought The Hokey Pokey would be that much fun! :D) and precious magical moments we shared with our guests. It was so much fun working with them!

My lovely PVH co-workers/ family
Even though I am really sad I have to leave, I am super excited about my new Merchandise workplace ----- Strollers!!! (Oh yeah, it is considered Merchandise. I couldn't believe it either. :D) According to my new training schedule, I will work nights only. We'll see how that goes. Talk to you soon! :)

Spooky September!

This month has been spook-tacular! I've made so many great and unforgettabale experiences and memories. For instance, I went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and dressed up as a Midnight Fairy which is one of my favourite Halloween costumes. Even better, I collected loooooots of delicious candy at many trick-or-treat locations around Magic Kingdom. ;D

In addition to that, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was filled with special entertainment such as Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, including Disney Characters and the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. The parade began with a spooky ride by the Headless Horseman. Also, I was totally amazed by the Happy HalloWishes which was a spectacular fireworks show where the Disney Villains went trick-or-treating in the sky. All in all, I saw some special lighting, music and theming effects that transformed special areas of Magic Kingdom into happy haunted hollows.

Mission: First week of training - Completed!

The last six days were filled of pure excitement. I was introduced to my new work location -The Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom (God answered my prayers, haha)! There, I am going to work as a Quick Service Food and Beverage Cast Member which is going to be a lot of fun as I have the best und funniest co-workers ever! During my training I learned how to make magic for the guests and interact with them, thus they will have an unforgettable stay at Magic Kingdom.

First visit at a Disney park ever!

Today (one of my first days off, whoohooo! :D) I visited my very first Disney park and guess what? I went to Magic Kingdom! The happiest place on earth ...YAY!!!

Magic Kingdom is the first of the 4 theme parks that opened at Walt Disney World Resort on October 1, 1971. It captures the enchantment of fairy tales with exciting entertainment, thrilling attractions and parades, amazing fireworks shows, the beloved  Disney characters as well as the iconic Cinderella Castle which is in the middle of all action. Basically, the park consists 6 different lands such as Mainstreet U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Liberty Square.

All in all, I had a fun-filled day at Magic Kingdom and I have been on a few really cool attractions  and rides like Space Mountain or Splash Mountain and bought some pretty nice Disney merchandise.

Troy University

On Tuesday Í had my very first Troy class at Vista Way and I pretty much enjoyed it! I was introduced to my lovely Hospitality Management and Marketing teacher, Ms. Ping He, and my very cool classmates who come from around globe! Vietnam, Portugal, Germany, Colombia, Mexico - we got it all! :) On top of that, we had been offered some delicious slices of pizza before we were provided with some general information about the courses' content and learning objectives. That's what I call a really nice start-off!

Finally I arrived!

After an exhausting 10-hour flight, answering lots of weird questions at American customs and almost getting lost at Orlando's Airport, I made my way to the happiest place on earth. Walt Disney World! YAY! I had been very warmly welcomed by the Disney Welcome Center before I moved into my new apartment at Chatham Square and finally had the chance to get to know my housemates and take a loooong nap! :D

Besides my seven lovely housemates who come from places all over the world like Germany, Colombia and Brazil, I really like the apartment I live at. It's got an open kitchen and a huge living room including a super comfy couch. Ideal for some future fun movie nights! Also, there's a chilly pool inviting for some nice rest on your days off. :)
